My first experience with a stylist didn't go so well and I didn't feel as though my thoughts and ideas were reflected in the initial hair trial. In addition the styles did not hold in place and this left me quite anxious! And so after receiving numerous recommendations I contacted Mel and I am so relieved she agreed to be the hair stylist for our big day!

Mel is not only super talented and current with her taste and ability, she is also really patient, very calm and willing to try whatever Pinterest photo you show her. It was lovely to have her join in with the fun of the morning too! My bridesmaids and I each had different styles in mind and each one Mel achieved for us, from gorgeous up-do's to loose curls and more intricate bohemian styles; she did a flawless job. Mel is guided by you but she will also make great suggestions if you need guidance.

"I started using Mel after having my hair done as a bridesmaid for my best friend's wedding in 2013 and have been using her ever since - there was no question who I wanted to do my wedding party's hair. I had quite a large group, myself, my mum and 6 bridesmaids!

Mel really cares about her work and says herself that she is a perfectionist so I knew everything would be perfect! I had a trial a couple of months before the big day and loved the first style we tried but I know that Mel would have spent the time to try as many styles as I had wanted.

On the day, Mel arrived early and with military precision styled everyone's hair, at no point did I feel stressed or worried about timings, everything flowed so smoothly.

For my hair I had a half up style with curls which Mel made more interesting by creating an intricate design when pinning the curls up. I was so happy with the style, I'd been growing it for months and it was exactly what I wanted, it lasted all day and night, through lots of crazy dancing!

My mum and bridesmaids all looked gorgeous too, my mum had a sixties style up do and the girls had curly side buns.

The wedding day was the most amazing day ever, it went perfectly and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
